Cannon Beach, OR
This is the Pacific. I once again returned to the great state of Oregon to visit my AmeriCorps family. This photo was taken about a mile away from last year’s March POTM in Cannon Beach. While the blue sky only lasted a few minutes, I was able to capture it between bouts of rain.JUNE 2012
I found a place on the MA map that I had never been; Horseneck beach. I wanted to find an image that emanated that special summer feelin’. I walked through trails along the ocean and I became fascinated by all the flowers. I love how the pedals reach up to the equally white clouds. Ah, summer...AUGUST 2012
During a whale watch, I turned my camera to a less impressive but no less beautiful creature... This sea bird's flight toward an unknown horizon intrigued me.

This was taken in one of the most isolated and beautiful places I've ever been. The Na Pali Coast is located on the Northwest part of Kauai. There's no place like home! I walked out my door and spent some time in my neighborhood photographing the winter sunset. Cold as it was, I love the silhouetted trees. I was pleased to find this patch of evergreens. Reminding me of Christmas, I snapped this shot for December.
